Born and raised in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn I use the people and the places around me to gain inspiration for my art work. I work in acrylic on canvas , clay and plaster and wire.

I believe in beauty. That may sound superficial but lets remember "beauty is in the eye of the beholder". the female form in my opinion is one of our greatest examples of beauty. I use the form of women especially women of color to display our most beautiful assets. Hair in an integral part of my work. it allows me to add texture and expression into my pieces. I also depict children, for children give off and energy and vibrancy that I try to express through color.  I hope my artwork will make you smile and remind you of someone in beautiful in your life. Remember "beauty is in the eye of the beholder."
