Fedrecia paints in a realistic style with a primitive flavor. She uses charcoal, acrylic, pastels and oils in her work. Her paintings carry a socio-political statement. Non-representational abstract is the current focus of her work. She has shown her work at several locations all over the city. She is the President and Co-Founder of the Bedford-Stuyvesant Artists’ Association and Co-Founder of the Fine Arts Ministry of the St. Paul Community Baptist in East New York, Brooklyn. She is a member of the Long Island Black Artist’s Association and the Brooklyn Waterfront Artists’ Coalition. She was the Curator for the Remember Amadou Diallo Commemorative Exhibition (2002 and 2003) held at St. Paul Community Baptist Church and the New York Urban Experience Gallery. Fedrecia will celebrate the first year anniversary of Zion Gallery. Zion Gallery is an art gallery that showcases the artwork of local artists.
